Window Solar Screens
Window Solar Screens are dense shade
screens that fit over a window. Window Solar Screens are hand-made
specifically for each window's measurement and unique needed
installation technique. Window Solar Screens install on the
outside of windows designed to provide shade from the sun for windows
and to keep the sun out of the home.

We installed our Window Solar Screens on every window of this single story home, 14 in total. The window solar screens color combination that we used was the black solar screen fabric with tan frame. The tan frame complimented the home's exterior trim which was painted tan. |
The right side of this home faces West, which gets the brunt of the sun (the hot afternoon sun), therefore we used the 90% window solar screens fabric on these three West facing windows. We used the 80% fabric on all the other windows. It's hard to see the difference between the 80% and 90% fabric when comparing these pictures because the sun was not out when we took these pictures, so all the window solar screens look to be of the same fabric density. You can kind of tell by looking at the top picture titled "Front side of house", and you can see through the solar screen fabric to see the grid-work of the window. Those front windows are 80% window solar screens, if they were 90% you would not be able to see this grid-work as well. |
We even installed a solar screen on the back patio door's window, as shown in this picture. We recommend to put window solar screens on all your windows to provide a uniform look and to take advantage of our quantity discounted pricing system. Our window solar screens pricing structure is such that it is MUCH more cost effective for us to put a solar screen on the likes of this patio door when we do the rest of the house, verses doing so as a 2nd job. Customers that choose to leave a solar screen off a window or two when they order the window solar screens for their house from us often ask that we come back out to finish off the rest of their home. It's best all the way around to install the windows solar screens for all your windows at once an "All Window" job, when we do the job for you the first time. The installed sales-tax total cost for this job was $767.84.
